The most knowledgeable muskie hunter on the lake, with a great boat and who is willing to share what he knows about these monsters- We spent a perfect October day on Lake St. Clair and caught a lot of perch dinners. Capt. Steve is very knowledgeable about fishing, boats and Lake St. Clair.

- Steve did a good job of locating fish. Small mouth & Muskies. I'd give him an 8 - 9 on that. His tackel, maybe a 7. Bad hooks, he didn't want to replace, till I cut them off. His attitude towards customers left a lot to be desired. He had a first mate, only one he wanted to talk to. Attitude I'd give a 3 towards customers. Too bad, because it could have been a great trip. Steve, try and be a little more personal, and quit worrying about someone putting a mark on your boat. This is from two trips with Steve. One walleye & one bass/musky. Overall 6 - 8.

- My father, cousin, and I went out with Captain Steve Jones this past Monday (10-3-2022). A cold front has moved in on Sunday, so we knew fishing would be tough. We trolled for 8hrs, but unfortunately we weren’t able to hook a fish. But the entire time Captain Steve and his first mate were changing out lures and checking for weeds. Captain Steve answered all of our questions and stayed positive the whole time. We will certainly charter with Captain Steve again and hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate.
We met Captain Steve at a trade show and he was up front and honest from the start. We set a date to go out and he actually called me to say hey, let’s wait a couple weeks. Fishing has been tough! We set a new date and he sent us out with Captain Don! Let me say this, Captain Don is the best, sorry Steve! He was just great! He worked so hard for us and the conditions were horrible early on and that meant the world to my family. Don searched and searched, and he found us a beauty! And then some! Thanks again and we will be back!
